Jessie, lost to PDD

Jessie's Final Chapter

I was always thinking and worried about were Jessie should go if something should happen to me. I could not think about anywhere and anyone who was good enough for Jessie. She was very devoted to me, and the rest of the family she used as a transportation to be carried over to me.

Because of her not so social way she could have been a very sad bird, hard to find a family for.

I never even dreamed about that she should be the first one to leave us. I am sadder then I can express over having to tell that Jessie died in September 2003 of PDD. She died the very same day Maryland was struck by the Hurricane Isabelle. I saw a slight change in her behavior when I closed her cage door so she should not be hurt of the bad weather. She normally never had her door closed. I hold her in my hands and the family was all there. She had two major seizures and died in less than 10 minutes. It was so much unexpected.

O Lord, I miss her.
